Our-Kids: Comments

I am happy to hear any comments, answer generic questions and provide technical assistance in regards to the Our-Kids List and  regarding the Our-Kids Web Site.  If you desire to announce a product or resource, please read the "Events, Products and Resource Announcements section" at the bottom of this page.

Our-Kids is a Non-Monetary entity.  I do not receive or solicit money.  I donate my time and the few expenses there are, I pay myself .  That also means I do not have money to give, so please don't ask for funding.

I am unable to answer specific questions such as information regarding medical practices or therapies for a particular Diagnosis (DX), provide contact information to families that may have children with a specific DX or what the schools, services or agencies may exist in a particular locality.  I am only a (somewhat flailing) expert of my own children and only have knowledge regarding our own niche of the world.  If you are seeking information for yourself or a loved one, please direct your Email to the Our-Kids List by addressing your message to our-kids@listserv.syr.edu. If you are seeking informational resources, lists or sites please use the Family Village search engine or send an email to our-kids@listserv.syr.edu.

Events, Products and Resource Announcements:

We are currently experimenting with a quarterly newsletter to send out to members of the Our-Kids List to distribute announcements of Events, Products and Resources such as web sites, chats, etc.  Since Our-Kids does not allow commercial posts, it is hoped that a format of this nature will allow a mechanism to distribute information which may be of interest to various members of the list.

To make a submittal, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• The announcement, product, or resource must fall within the mission of Our-Kids; that being children with disabilities or the people raising children with disabilities.   The information will be verified via the web site URL you provide.
• A summary paragraph or two with a URL to a web site for those seeking further information and contacts.
• No repeats sooner than three (3) months.

Submit to Randy for inclusion in the news letter.
